I know everyone loves Steph Curry’s amazing daughter Riley but she isn’t the only child of an NBA star that made a name for themselves. Derrick Rose’s son, PJ, also shot to fame, thanks largely in part to his hilarious face during his dad’s press conference after the Bulls lost to the Cavs in the playoffs. The face he made eventually wound up on a t-shirt his dad was rocking last month but now PJ stepped it up another notch and is rocking his own face on his hoodie, complete with emoji faces on the sleeve. Many months ago, Amber Rose was being linked to Giants superstar receiver Odell Beckham Jr. They never confirmed anything but the reports were there and I guess you can pretty much believe what you want. As time passed, the talk about them faded and just this week Amber appeared to have a thing for another Giants player, this time rarely used receiver Myles White. Amber’s fans were quick to let her know that he had dissed her in the past and wasn’t a fan of her. It didn’t take long after that for the post to be deleted.

Tis the season for all the fake holiday parties you really don’t want to go to because you don’t want to have unnecessary small talk with people you don’t like. That applies for everyone, not just the typical 9-5 workers attending their corporate party. The Seattle Seahawks and other teams around the league also had holiday parties this week and it just so happens the Hawks have one of the more famous couples in the NFL affiliated with them in Russell Wilson & Ciara. When you are the biggest superstar in the NBA, the league is going to want you to be part of their biggest days on the calendar. For Lebron James, that means pretty much always having to play on Christmas day because it’s such a marquee day for the league. Problem for Bron is, despite his star power he usually gets stuck having to travel and play on the road, rather than have teams come to him. It’s an issue that has not been lost on Bron and how it makes him feel about the holiday.

Chris Paul and his Los Angeles Clippers teammates are pretty much by far the most hated team in the league. When you think of them at this point, you think more about them being a bunch of floppers, complainers and borderline dirty players. Even coach Doc Rivers has managed to find himself in the dog house with fans around the league. As you might expect though, CP3 could give a crap how you feel about him.

Some older basketball fans will remember Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson, who had a pretty solid career after being selected #1 overall by the Milwaukee Bucks back in the mid 90’s. His son, Glenn Robinson III might not be as well known yet but he is hoping to change that. After playing at a high level at the University of Michigan, Robinson entered the NBA draft and while his playing career is still evolving, he was able to take some of that NBA money and put a big smile on his mother’s face for Christmas.
