Donald Sterling plans to fight the NBA’s attempt to remove him as owner of the Clippers. Between the legal battles and the time it takes to approve the sale of the team, this process could take quite some time. That means the players will have a decision to make about what they will do if Sterling is still the owner when next season rolls around. Clippers star Blake Griffin concedes that he is uncertain what he will do.

The domestic altercation with Carolina Panthers Greg Hardy and his girlfriend Nicole Holder continues to get more bizarre. Hardy was arrested after allegedly assaulting and threatening Holder. She claims Hardy was upset because of her short relationship with rapper Nelly while the two were separated. Hardy was soon released but was ordered to hand over his massive gun collection.

NBA: League Considering ‘Disenfranchising’ the Clippers
Donald Sterling has made it quite clear that he won’t go down without a fight. Not only does he not want to sell the Clippers, he also doesn’t want to pay the $2.5 million fine and plans on suing the NBA. His estranged wife Shelly Sterling is trying to hold on to the team as well. This leaves the NBA with trying to explore all options possible to get him out and one they’re reportedly considering is “disenfranchising” the team.
NFL: Michael Sam Reality Show/Documentary Series With OWN Put on Hold
When the Oprah Winfrey Network announced that it was doing a documentary series surrounding Michael Sam, it was met with harsh criticism. The series was supposed to document Sam’s journey as the first openly gay player in the NFL. The issue however was that it contradicted Sam’s claims that he just wanted to focus on football. Well I guess the critics voices were heard because the show has been put on hold.
MLB: Mets Accidently Send Mass Email With GM Sandy Alderson’s Credit Card Info
A New York Mets staffer is in deep trouble after accidently sending out a mass email that included the credit card info of the general manager, Sandy Alderson. The email included the security code and expiration date. Luckily it was only sent to the press and not everybody on the Mets mailing list but it was still a pretty big screw up.
