A massive, bench-clearing brawl broke out just before halftime of Thursday night’s game between the University of Arizona and UCLA.
The events leading up to the fight though, were odd. It seems that with just two seconds left in the second quarter, a fan actually ran onto the field dressed as a referee, confusing many and delaying the game.

The Syracuse team was already on the court when Orange coach Jim Boeheim gave the crowd of 20,000 in the Carrier Dome some great news.
He stepped to the center of the court bearing his name and declared “There’s one more guy here.” He pointed to the tunnel at the corner of the building and yelled the name they all were hoping to hear. New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony jogged onto the court where he left his definitive mark during Syracuse’s 2003 national championship season.

Rap star Rick Ross “personally called the Memphis staff and said he’s OK and still on his way to perform at Memphis Madness tonight” after reportedly suffering a seizure on his flight, a spokesman for the University of Memphis announced Friday.

Iona Prep senior Justin Combs, son of rap mogul Diddy, was officially named to the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in a ceremony at the New Rochelle school, the New York Post reported Friday.
