The Roots Announce 5th Annual Festival Lineup
The Roots have revealed the details for their annual festival, going down the first weekend of June in Philly. Big names like Wale, Kid Cudi, De La Soul, The Roots (of course) and more will be performing on the pier for the 2 day “picnic.” Full lineup and links to cop tickets are below.

Last night, singer/songwriter The Dream held his first show in almost 2 years. It went down in NYC at hot-spot SOB’s, and he began with a one-liner that seemed to go at a couple newbie’s necks. The first person that comes to my mind is The Weeknd, seeing as though he fits the description perfectly. “I haven’t done a show in close to two years,” Dream began. “And ever since then, there’s like, four n*ggas that sound like me now. (Video) WHOA! Tyler The Creator Gets CHOKED OUT & Dragged Off Stage By Gucci Mane’s Security!
Lmaooooo this is awful! But hilarious because no one got hurt! During a recent Gucci Mane show, Odd Future frontman Tyler, The Creator must have been in the building and as it appears in the video, somewhere backstage. When Gooch took the stage, Tyler decided to come out from the back to amp the crowd alongside him, but I guess the security thought it was just a random fan trying to bum-rush their favorite rapper! He immediately swept in and put his hands around Tyler’s neck, while simultaneously pulling him off the stage. Tyler, who is no stranger to ridiculous incidents, appeared to be laughing as he was being pulled off stage, sticking his tongue out as if to signify he finds it funny and is pretending to be choked to death. Shady 2.0 Announces SXSW Showcase (50, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf!)
This is going to be really cool! Shady Records announced late last night that almost their entire roster would be appearing at SXSW this year for their showcase. And it’s not just regular performance from 50…he’ll be performing material from his classic album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’”! The place to be next week is Austin, TX!
