The Tuskegee Airmen was a group of African American pilots who fought in World War II. Formally, they formed the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military aviators in the United States armed forces. Today and everyday, we honor their contributions to society. More on the Airmen below!

Happy Groundhog’s Day! My favorite part about today is watching the movie, Groundhog Day, but some people really take into consideration if the groundhog sees his shadow or not. According to folklore, if the groundhog comes out of his burrow and catches a glimpse of his shadow (which would frighten him), we will have six more weeks of winter. If the groundhog does not notice his shadow, we get an early spring! Punxsutawney, Pennslyvania has been predicting the weather this was since 1887 and Punxsutawney Phil is the most famous weather predicting groundhogs despite the emergence of Staten Island Chuck and Atlanta’s “General Beauregard Lee.” Find out what Phil predicted below.

Well it depends on what you wish for in the new year and what you want 2013 to bring to you. There are many New Years Eve traditions and rituals that we take part in, like looking our best and drinking, LOL! But women can also wear either red or yellow panties to “guarantee” a couple things in the new year. Red is supposed to guarantee passion and love in 2013!
