[Audio] Meek Mill Interview: Charging Fans For Photos? Why Not! Rick Ross Rapping About Date Rape? Sure!

Fairly recently, a young woman from the Netherlands wrote into Necole Bitchie’s fan mail section, and revealed that Meek Mill had attempted to charge her $100 for a photo after a concert! After posting the letter, Necole received tons of Twitter replies from other fans (most in foreign countries), saying the same thing had happened to them. Turns out, they’re not lying…and Meek isn’t even ashamed to admit it. (I’m just going to throw this out there: he didn’t charge me! Haaaay! LOL.) In a recent interview, Meek explained the logic, and clarified he’s absolutely not out here charging every Tom, Dick and Harry that asks for a pic. (Darn, I don’t feel special anymore.) It’s more so his team than it is him, and the situations are particular to certain circumstances. He actually makes a sort of valid argument when he lays out the facts, but…it still doesn’t make it totally okay. In another part of the interview, he defends his CEO’s “date rape” lyric, likening it to films that portray rape scenes, while also adding that Biggie wasn’t ever criticized for lines such as, “rape your kid, throw her over the bridge.” Yet another valid argument. Aaaand yet again, still doesn’t make it okay. Listen to the full interview below and let us know your thoughts!

(Video) Ace Hood On Rick Ross Lyric: “He Ain’t Mean It In No Way That Would Be Degrading To Women…”

When you’re friends with somebody, you always want to defend them and stick up for them…but sometimes, you’ve got to call a spade a spade. In this situation, Rick Ross was just WRONG and instead of helping condone his words, his friends should take a stance. “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it,” Rick Ross raps on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” “I took her home and enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” Ross says that people have “misconstrued” the lyric and he never would condone rape….yet he still hasn’t offered up the “actual” meaning of his words. When talking to Jenny Boom Boom in CT over the weekend, Ace Hood defended his boy, but he too had no real explanation. Watch below.
