French Montana’s Excuse My French tour rolls through Philly tonight, so he stopped by Wired 96.5 to chop it up with DJ Bonics while in town. Hopefully this will stop SOME of the chatter for now! Many critics have been giving actress Zoe Saldana a hard time about her role in an upcoming biopic about legendary jazz/soul singer Nina Simone, as they felt the half-black/half-Latina actress looked nothing like Nina (aka, she was way too light) and some were offended that the makeup they used on her in the role can sort of be looked at as blackface. Why The Delay For J. Cole’s “Born Sinner” ? – He Let’s Us Know

Cole has been getting everyone hyped, with the singles, and filling us in on the flow of certain songs to come, but we are going to have to wait a little bit longer for the album. “Born Sinner” has been pushed back, because the Roc Nation signee wants everything to be perfect. “Let’s really roll this out right, get the proper single, get the proper videos, proper brands. There are certain things that you can line up to make an album feel bigger,” Cole says to MTV. I can definitely understand where he’s coming from. Tyler, The Creator has begun full promo mode for his forthcoming sophomore LP, Wolf. A couple weeks back, the Odd Future frontman revealed the project was in the works, and shared with fans the 3 alternate versions of its cover art, along with the release date (April 2nd) and its lead single, Domo 23. Along with some of his Odd Future crew, Tyler stopped by the Hot 97 morning show this morning with Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg and Kay Foxx to discuss the project.
