Son Of Sam Designs is a brand ran by J. Sammy (23) from Flatbush, Brooklyn. Today, I will be presenting his “GoHard” tee that I came across while on instagram and I felt it was an appealing shirt. Son of Sam Designs is an independent based brand out of East Flatbush, in Brooklyn. S.O.S strives to bring quality and limited edition products. The GoHard print was inspired by Mason E.Goyard.Dempilage Dupuis translates into “stacking since 1990” . The inspiration for the shirt came from Sammy’s environment and surroundings. From the slums of east New York to the brownstones in dumbo his brand represents Brooklyn as a whole and the ways in which Brooklyn influences the entire world. The brand started in 2009 and since then has had some good success thus far. The Name Callin’ tee consist of the company name “I’m Possible Club” printed all over the tee. The Tee embodies and embarks on the separation of urban street wear. The bold lettering symbolizes the calling of their name to higher achievements. The brand started about 8 months ago with nothing more than an idea to create something different for the youth. They started brainstorming ideas, going over designs that would define them as a brand, heading to the heart of Los Angeles to find the pieces to their puzzle, looking into different materials, finding the perfect seamstress, all of these elements really brought the jersey to reality. Fashion: Presenting Designer Dominique Mills – Unfinished Tee (Self-Portrait)

Designer Dominique Mills (20) is a kid who was born in Philadelphia and now resides in New York. He has been designing since February of this year and as you can see has had some good success thus far. Today, I will be presenting his “Unfinished Tee” (Self Potrait). The tee is hand-painted with an abstract self-portrait depicting the inner conflicts of the artist, 100% cotton and fabric paint. Fashion: Bad Bunch NYC “NY Legends Never Die” Collection

Bad Bunch NYC is here with the newest collection which they chose to integrate Baroque paintings by Peter Paul Rubens intto feature in the theme. They believe that his work impacted the culture of his time and cemented his place in history. They wanted to bring awareness to his work by placing it in the public space through fashion, so they all teamed up for his elegant paintings with a few athletes that sported New York on their jerseys and retired as legends. The NY legends featured for the collection were Patrick Ewing, Jackie Robinson and Walt Frazier and all of them represented the city very well. By paying homage to the city with this collection they are also using their brands vision and following to add to the aesthetic taste that made New York City important in the world by setting trends and impacting culture.
