Prayers are up for singer Jhene Aiko, who was involved in a serious car accident in L.A. yesterday, with her young daughter in the car! Luckily the child was not injured at all, and all of Jhene’s injuries, while not fun, were not life threatening and she was released the same day from the hospital. The Def Jam signee suffered a broken wrist, a chipped tooth and had to get stitches in her chin. She looks pretty banged up from the photo, but clearly she’s in great spirits, and that’s the most important thing! Her good friend Miss Diddy also tweeted that her show this week at LSU has been cancelled. We wish you a speedy recovery!
Joe Budden Announces New Mixtape & Album
Joe Budden’s summer filled with hookah and big booties is coming to a close, and the New Jersey rapper is ready to get back into the booth. Taking to Twitter just a little while ago, Joey revealed he has new new projects coming for the end of 2013. As a follow-up to his No Love Lost album earlier this year, Joe will be dropping a Some Love Lost EP this fall, followed by the album All Love Lost this winter. He went through two breakups this year with Kaylin and Tahiry, plus recovery from a relapse, so this should be some very interesting content!

Jay Z and Rocawear have a shirt in stores with the phrase “Hood Love” written on it, but apparently it’s not all love at all. HoodLove LLC, a for-profit company dedicated to improving poverty stricken communities, has filed suit against Hov’s clothing line, saying they’ve owned the trademark since 2006 and the shirts will not only confuse the public, but make money off their name. HoodLove is suing for any profits made from the shirts, and also wants them completely pulled from stores. You think they’ll win this one?
