As of lately Google has been upping it’s game in the translate department. Just as of this week they announced that Google Translation now supports handwritten translation and now Google’s vice president, Hugo Barra has revealed that the company is in the early stages of developing a real time translation tool. Kids Are Getting FREE iPads WHERE?!
Los Angeles school board signed an agreement with Apple that will allow students in the LA Unified School District to receive a free ipad. The agreement between the school board and Apple is worth $30 million and will launch this fall delivering 31,000 iPads to the district. The tablets will come preloaded with educational apps to assist students with their studies. This program hopes to prepare students for the real world by exposing them to new technology that they may not have readily accessible at home.
