I didn’t even know about this mag before miss Washington snagged the cover looking cool as a cucumber and proving, as the cover line states, ”Nothing’s too hot to handle on ABC’s Scandal for the oh-so-watchable Kerry Washington, who’s firing up ratings and social media.” And don’t forget magazine racks! This year, so far, Kerry’s been seen on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter –twice!, Ebony, Elle, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide –twice again!, Parade, Uptown, Vibe, Women’s Health, and Arise. That’s more than one for every month and, of course, this makes us oh so happy as we sit in anticipation of season 3 to begin this fall. NYC’s Annual Summer Stage Festival Set To Kick Off June 4th
Summer Stage is a FREE musical festival presented by City Park Foundation with over 100 artists performances, dance, film, comedy, family, and theater programs for the public to participate in. The festival is scheduled to start on June 4th until August 29th, taking place in 17 parks throughout the five boroughs of New York. Summer Stage strives to educate people on the foundation of Hip-Hop, along with the elements and skills that come along with being a great Emcee.
