Fetty Wap turned 25 yesterday, and celebrated with a surprise birthday bash at his New Jersey home, put together by his longtime girlfriend Yaya. (Fun fact: his 2015 smash hit, “679,” got its name because of his birthday – 6/7/91.) Friends and family in attendance shared footage on Snapchat, and it looked like a good time was had by all. Check out video below and pics in the gallery. That backwoods cake was dope! (Meanwhile, Alexis Sky flew to Jersey to see him and was clearly not invited to the party. There was no shoutout from his daughter’s mother Lezhae either, but his son’s mother, Reese, got to spend his birthday eve with him. As for Masika, she was across the country celebrating her own birthday – but was sure to let Fetty know that she and their daughter love him! The life and times of Mr. Maxwell!)

Lil Yachty Had A Very, Very Rare Dream About Troy Ave Last Night

Troy Ave is the topic of the blogs right now, following the Irving Plaza shooting and more recently, his new mixtape that he released from behind bars last night. Perhaps Lil Yachty was reading an Ave article about the tape before he went to sleep on Monday night, because it led to quite the dream from the 18-year-old rapper…which, thankfully for us, he shared on Twitter. “Wait so guys can I tell u about my dream last night?,” Yachty began yesterday afternoon. “Ok so basically Troy Ave had tweeted he wanted to snatch my chain and knowing me I wasn’t gonna let a n*gga just tweet that so I snapped bck…” You’ve gotta hear how it goes from there. Check out the gallery to see!

After Cancelled Kanye/G.O.O.D. Music Surprise Show, Angry Fans Vandalize NYC

ifwt_Kanye West MAIN

Kanye West was set to perform on the third night of the Governor’s Ball festival in NYC last night, but unfortunately, the severe rain and lightning forced promoters to cancel the entire day. Though he later popped up at Summer Jam with his G.O.O.D. Music crew, it was a surprise that fans didn’t know to buy tickets for – and more than likely, if they were were part of the group that were planning to see him at Governor’s Ball, they weren’t at Summer Jam…because you wouldn’t buy tickets to two concerts going on at the same time, now would ya? In an attempt to make it up, Yeezy and the squad announced a pop-up show at Webster Hall in NYC for around 2AM (as our clubs don’t close until 4AM…hollaaaa.) Unfortunately, that didn’t work out very well, because the crowd got so big, the NYPD was forced to shut it down. So what do angry fans who got burned on a Kanye show twice in one night do at that point? You party…and vandalize sh*t. Check out what happened below.

(Video) Future Explains Summer Jam Absence

Yesterday’s rain made for quite the nightmare at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert, forcing them to cancel the Festival Village stage, cut multiple acts from the main stage (Kid Ink, Tinashe and Young Thug) and push back the 6pm start time to 8:30pm. Despite the initial setbacks, the show finally went on around 9pm, and fans loved the performances from Uncle Murda and Maino (with surprise guests 2 Milly), Bryson Tiller (with surprise guest Fabolous), G.O.O.D. Music featuring Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travi$ Scott and Desiigner, and Terror Squad featuring Fat Joe, Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine (with surprise guests Ashanti and French Montana)…but then another setback occurred. Unfortunately, a fight broke out in the audience, causing the show to be placed on a security hold for at least 30 minutes while police got it under control. This caused the show to be pushed back further, and for those of you who don’t know – there are fines in the 6-figure range for going even ONE MINUTE over the curfew set by the venue. Hot 97 had already gotten clearance to go to 1:30AM (way past the usual 11pm curfew, and this was because the show had to start so late,) so they couldn’t push any further. Unfortunately, this meant more people had to be clipped.

Last night’s Summer Jam wasn’t the only thing Kanye took over last night…after ‘Ye found out his Governor Ball set was cancelled because of weather AND that it was his birthday, he decided to set up a “pop-up” concert at Webster Hall. The show amazingly sold out in a heartbeat as crowds of fans caused traffic jams, safety issues, flooded the streets of NYC causing it to get shut down.
