You know alot of college players are hating on the attention South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney has been getting all off season long. Ever since his monster hit against Michigan last year, Clowney has been the talk of college football with the exception of Johnny Manziel. Maybe that hate however is becoming dangerous. Last night late in the game against UNC, Clowney was chasing the quarterback down. The ball had already been thrown and Clowney stopped running as the play was over. Suddenly a 300 pound offensive lineman from UNC rolls right into the back of Clowney’s knee. Nobody pushed the lineman, he wasn’t out of control, he clearly did it on purpose and I hope some type of punishment is coming his way. Clowney walked with a slight limp the rest of the night, but it could of been much worse. Hit the jump.
NFL:(Video) Giants RB Andre Brown Fractures Leg, Could Miss Entire Season
You have to feel for Andre Brown. Last season he was on his way to having a breakout season early on, when he broke his leg and was forced to miss the entire season. He had already previously missed an entire season back in 2009 after tearing his achilles. Now last night in the final preseason game against the Patriots, he fractured his leg, which could wind up leaving him on the sidelines or without a job. He was going to be a very important part of the offense, making up a 1-2 punch with other running back David Wilson. Brown however is the better overall back, so this is a big loss. With final cuts this week, hopefully the Giants will keep him on the roster. Some doctors are saying he could be back in as little as 8 weeks, because the fracture does not require surgery. I am somewhat confused how his birth certificate wound up at an auction, but I guess when your that famous, nobody will ask for your certificate in the future.
