NBA: Monta Ellis Signs 3 Year Deal With Mavericks, Could Be for $30 Million!
Earlier this week, Monta Ellis narrowed his list of teams he might play with down to 4. Now it is only one. The Dallas Mavericks signed Ellis today to a 3 year contract that will be worth between $25-$30 million. He was definitely one of the best guards available through free agency. Many teams would of loved to get him, but he wanted some major money. The Mavs hope he will be able to help Dirk out with some scoring, but he has never been known for his defense and he takes alot of bad shots. Still, on any night he is capable of dropping 25-30 points. The Mavs needed someone after striking out on getting Dwight Howard.

Even if you hate the Giants or Broncos, you gotta admit the Manning brothers are pretty funny. There is a reason why companies continue to feature them in ads and use them for endorsements. Peyton has been funny as hell for years, and more recently Eli has come out of his shell. Winning two Super Bowls might help with that. NBA: Shots Fired!! Shaq Says The Nets Run New York Now, ” All Day, Every Day”
Shaq loves to talk sh*t. Always wants to stir things up with comments, but that is how he has always been. I am beginning to think the NBA has paid people off to talk up the Knicks/Nets rivalry. The league thought the rivalry would of started on its own this past season, but you can’t force that. I do not think it will be a real rivalry until the new Nets show they can sustain being good for a while. The Knicks have ran New York for too long to suddenly give the Nets respect as a hated rival. Maybe down the road, but that still didn’t stop Shaq from running off at the mouth. Check it after the jump.
