NFL: Indianapolis Colts Safety Joe Lefeged Arrested on Multiple Gun Charges

In a week filled with off-the-field drama, we’re not out of the woods just yet.  Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested early Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., on multiple gun-related charges after fleeing from authorities, Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Araz Alali told NFL.com and NFL Network.  Read more after the jump.

NFL: New England Patriots’ Void Aaron Hernandez’s Guaranteed Money

The New England Patriots moved quickly to disassociate themselves with alleged murder Aaron Hernandez.  The team quickly released him after his arrest, offered fans who have his jersey to come and trade it in and now they’ve voided the guaranteed money in his contract.  Read more after the jump.


(Photos) NBA: Knicks’ Amare Stoudemire & Alexis Have Second Wedding in Miami

Knicks’ Amare Stoudemire and his wife Alexis got married last winter on 12/12/12 in a private ceremony in New York. On Friday, the two held a larger ceremony in Miami for friends and family at the Fontainebleu hotel. The bride also had a girls night out at Mokai the night before the wedding and a brunch on Friday. Lakers Earl Clark and his wife Megan were in attendance as well as Adrienne Bosh. Alexis gave birth to the couple’s fourth child in May and looks absolutely gorgeous.  Check the pictures out after the jump.


NBA: Would Andrew Bynum Consider Going to the Miami Heat?

With the addition of center Nerlens Noel the chances of the Philadelphia 76ers trying to re-sign Andrew Bynum are very slim.  Bynum was expected to command a big pay day and long term deal but after sitting out the entire season and constant, waning health concerns, there aren’t many teams who would be willing to take that chance.  Read more after the jump.


NBA: While Defending Doc Rivers Jeff Van Gundy Admits He Regrets Quitting as the Knicks Head Coach

Being the head coach of the New York Knicks is no easy task.  The media in New York is harsher than most (not homers), the fans are overly expectant and the scrutiny is high.  Still Jeff Van Gundy stuck it out for many years and was regarded as one of the best coaches in the league before he finally decided to walk away from the Knicks.  While speaking on Doc Rivers decision to leave the Celtics and coach the Clippers, Van Gundy looked back at the decision he made and says it’s something he still regrets.  Read more after the jump.
