NBA: Trade For Nerlens Noel Signals Andrew Bynum’s Departure From the 76ers

When the Philadelphia 76ers made a trade on draft night sending Jrue Holiday to the Pelicans in exchange for Nerlens Noel, plenty of jokes ensued.  In a previous trade the Sixers ended up Andrew Bynum who ended up sitting out the entire season with knee issues so now it seems like deja vu.  In fact there were jokes that the Sixers don’t have two good knees between their two centers.  Well it turns out Bynum may be on his way out anyways.  Read more after the jump.


NBA: Milwaukee Bucks’ GM Pledges to Keep Brandon Jennings

Several reports stated that the Milwaukee Bucks wanted to retain Monta Ellis over Brandon Jennings and that the team didn’t have much interest in keeping him but it turns out those reports are untrue.  Well at least according to the Bucks general manager.  Read more after the jump.

The blogs went into a frenzy when they put the pieces together and discovered Knicks’ guard Iman Shumpert was dating singer Elle Varner.  The two never confirmed the relationship however, until now… Varner is no longer being shy about her love affair with the pro baller.  She was spotted on the red carpet for the ASCAP Awards in LA where she gushed about her boyfriend.  Read more after the jump.


WWE: Former Pro Wrestler Found Dead in His Girlfriend’s Home

Ex-WWE star Doink the Clown — a hugely popular wrestler in the ’90s — was found dead in Texas.  His girlfriend found him dead in her home where he had been staying.  Read more after the jump.

It’s no secret that the Lakers offseason focus is re-signing All-Star center Dwight Howard.  To show how determined they are, they’ve put up several billboards around LA practically begging Dwight to stay.  While some say it’s pathetic that the 16-time Champion Lakers would have to beg anyone, GM Mitch Kupchak says “We put them up. We care about him & would like him to stay.”   Dwight will officially become a free agent on July 1st but everyone will have to wait until July 10th when he makes his “decision”. NFL: Jail Staffers Are Given a Strict Warning About Aaron Hernandez!

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was denied bail in the case of the murder of Odin Lloyd.  He’s currently awaiting trail in jail and the staffers were given very strict warnings about the inmate.  Read more after the jump.
