Though Brian Scalabrine didn’t put up monster numbers he was a fan favorite. Playfully called the ‘White Mamba’ Scalabrine rode the bench and mostly played garbage time minutes. NFL: Detroit Lions Sign Former 49ers Kicker David Akers
David Akers went from having the best season of his career, to the worst in only two years. I’m sure he and the Lions are hoping for a fresh start as they agree to a new contract. NFL: San Francisco 49ers LB NaVorro Bowman Throws Shots at the Seattle Seahawks
To think just 3 seasons ago the Seattle Seahawks locked up the NFC West with a 7-9 record much to the dismay of football fans. Now they’ve emerged as a serious contender with breakout quarterback Russell Wilson and a beefed up defense headlined by cornerback Richard Sherman. The Knicks started off pretty slow last night but in the 3rd quarter of their game against the Milwaukee Bucks they turned it up a notch and were hitting from all cylinders.
