The Los Angeles Clippers are pretty stacked though they are without veteran point guard Chauncey Billups. NBA: Mike D’Antoni & Pau Gasol Criticize Each Other After the Lakers Loss to the Grizzlies
The addition of coach Mike D’Antoni has already begun to produce some issues for the Los Angeles Lakers. Big men Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol have seen their production take a nose dive. Gasol’s conditioning has also been questioned as to whether or not he can keep up with D’Antoni’s fast paced offense. Gasol’s feels he’s not getting the right looks and they just seem to be at odds. Last night the Lakers took a 106-98 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies with Gasol siting down the stretch. According to D’Antoni he did that so he could win the game. Read more after the jump. Shay Marie
NFL: Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha Says Fans Expected Him to Be Superman
The Philadelphia Eagles went from the “Dream Team” and playoff aspirations to wishing the season would just end now as they sit on the bottom of the NFC East with a 3-7 record. One of their major additions was cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha who was highly sought after during free agency last year. NFL: J-E-T-S = Just End The Season, The NY Jets Struggle Continues
The future seemed so bright for the New York Jets, they acquired super star quarterback Tim Tebow from the Broncos for next to nothing and it appeared he’d sprinkle his magic on their offense. They opened the season with a dominating 48-28 win over the Buffalo Bills and momentarily dispelled naysayers. NBA: Jeremy Lin & the Houston Rockets Drop 131 Points on the NY Knicks
The Knicks have been playing really well despite some questionable offseason moves. One of the those moves was not matching the Houston Rockets offer for point guard Jeremy Lin.
