We are all aware of the smartwatch hype we just have been hearing a lot of talking not much action lately. Thankfully Samsung is reportedly unveiling it’s smartwatch in early September. Samsung is beating Apple to the punch with this but hopefully their plan doesn’t back fire since Apple isn’t rumored to debut theirs until sometime next year. They are planning to show off the smartwatch “Samsung Gear” along with the Galaxy Note III during a press conference. The source of all this information is anonymous with issuing this information of the launch but Samsung did confirm in March that it’s developing a smartwatch so hopefully by September time we will get a taste of what Samsung Gear will have to offer us.
Smartphones Will Soon Alert You For WHAT?!
Postifier is an app that with notify you via smartphone when your mail has arrived. It works by placing the Bluetooth’s monitor inside the mailbox and its sensor detects any light, which is when the mail is inserted into the mailbox. Once the Bluetooth device detects the light a message will be sent straight to your smartphone. It can connect within a 100 foot range and its battery lasts six to nine months. If all goes well with it’s funding Postifier will be available for both iOS and Android in December.
WTF….The UK Wants To BAN Porn?!
British Prime Minister David Cameron announced a set of reforms thats goal is to limit access to online pornography and other obscene material. He plans to implement a filter system that will have British internet users (19 million people) to select whether or not they want family-friendly filters. But heres the catch if you do not choose to select you will be under the family friendly filter by default. The filters are designed to block ALL porn sites and will also be put into place on mobile devices and on public Wi-Fi networks. Cameron says he is doing this to preserve children’s innocence since inappropriate pictures are readily accessible throughout the internet without these filters. This is coming from the same guy that accidentally left his 8 year old daughter at a pub LOL !

Cop Cars Will Soon Be Equipped With WHAT?!
Ford and InterMotive Inc are now putting cameras in the back of police cars letting officers know when pedestrians are approaching from behind and will in turn put the vehicle in lockdown! When activated in a parked patrol car the system turns on the rear-mounted camera and back up sensors that usually only come on when the car is in reverse. Officers are equipped with a screen in the rear view mirror showing them video footage of whatever is going on behind the vehicle. If the proximity of the senors detect someone approaching from behind the car automatically sounds an alert and locks the door and closes the windows.
