Yahoo makes most of its revenue through traditional display ads but lately their annual numbers have been slipping. People are gearing more towards adds on Facebook and Twitter which are more sophisticated and better targeted ads on desktop and mobile devices. Yahoo as of Wednesday announced that it has acquired a “sophisticated technology that helps marketers reach their desired audience at the right time and place” called Admovate. I guess this just means more ads for us.


Google Glass Has A New Competitor At A Fraction Of The Price!!

A new competitor to Google Glass, Google’s buzzed about internet-connected glasses, has emerged on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. For those not familiar, crowdfunding enables entrepreneurs, manufacturers, artists and creators of all stripes to seek funding directly from their customers without going the traditional route of raising capital, developing a product and waiting for it to hit the market before getting money from the end user. iPhone 5s May Be Equipped With WHAT?!

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published a patent application from Apple for a method of identifying fingerprints using a senor embedded in the display of the phone. The filing suggests that the sensor can be used as a secondary input method as well as other things. Other rumored features that are expected to come with the iPhone 5 is a 12-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, a faster A6 processor, as well as improved graphics. Can’t Sleep? Wear THIS!!

This wristband called Lark was created by a woman named Julia Hu (who is now CEO and founder of Lark) because her husband had trouble sleeping. Lark is a wristband that connects with your smartphone and is designed to help you get a better night’s sleep. It is a wireless sleep monitor and a personal sleep coach. Hu says it is also a silent alarm clock doing tiny little tickles to nudge you so you get up. Don’t trust it? Well let’s just say it is the official product of the National Sleep Foundation and is being sold at Apple Stores!


COOL!! Some Details On Google’s Next Tablet Leak!!

Along with an inventory sheet from OfficeMax giving pricing info, photos of the sequel to Google’s Nexus 7 hit the internet today. The new Android tablet is slated to hit stores around the 20th, but it may drop on the 24th at Google’s planned product event. Pricing is set to be $269.99 for the 32 GB model – no word on how much a 16 GB model will cost or if it will even be offered.
