control the future of the web TV

TatsTechTalk just happened to catch GoogleTV, and lo and behold, there’s a sneak preview of Sony’s Google TV ad blitz… and with it, a never-before-seen controller. Two circular directional pads, a QWERTY keyboard, volume, channel selection, some play / pause buttons… everything you’d need to rock the web and video all at once. That’s about all we can say at this point, but man does October 12th look even more painfully far away. Screencaps below, video after the break — and if you look closely, there’s another shot at the Revue keyboard, too. find me on twitter @TatWza

Upscale Headphones….I Hear That!

Hands up if you actually know what ruthenium is. Don’t worry if you don’t, it’s just used as an external plating on these extremely luxurious open-back cans. More familiar expensive materials can be found within, with titanium-plated 40mm drivers, silver-plated copper wires with 99.99 percent purity and….for more, like the crazy price on these, go to find me on twitter @TatWza

MoGo for iphone

Iphone fits in the case, from the front(not shown), and Bluetooth goes in the back You can check out the ID8-Mobile website at – this is the world’s thinnest Bluetooth headset – it folds flat and docks right on the case for the phone (iphone) – the upside is that the headset is always with you (instead of in the ashtray with a dead battery – right?) – it charges on the case when you charge your phone – uses a regular USB cable, which is included The whole system fixes the problems with Bluetooth headsets – you don’t loose this one, and you remember to charge it. Down the road, ID8 will build headsets for other phones (Blackberry, Android…) for 2011. Nice angle for drivers too – MoGo Talk makes it easy to do the right thing and use the phone hands-free so you can keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. MoGo Talk for iPhone 4 will be in Apple Stores and J&R in NYC around the end of this month. fnd me on Twitter @TatWza

Motorola & Ferrari….Talk about Zoom Zoom!!!!!

Microsoft Zune got an Official Upgrade!!!!

The Zune HD may not have seen quite the explosion of apps that many had hoped for, but it’s just gotten a pretty big one: Windows Live Messenger. That will naturally give you much of the same functionality of its desktop counterpart (also receiving an update today), including the ability to keep watch on updates from various…..For the rest go to @TatWza

Apple ipad’s away!!!!!

Colorware’s been making the products you buy look better (or worse, if you’d like) for years on end, but up until now, it has never actually created a product from scratch. Enter the Grip for iPad, a simplistic new iPad holster that’s less of a case and more of a handle. It’s a metal frame that you bolt around the edges of your tablet, and as you can tell, it adds a major grabbing point to the side……For the rest of this article like the price go to @TatWza

Cardboard Computing … “Different type of green!” – Tat Wza

Recompute is just so far fetched: an entire desktop PC… built with cardboard! Sure, the internals are standard off-the-shelf PC components, but from the outside Recompute looks like nothing we’ve ever seen, and that’s really saying something for a desktop industry that’s tried just about every look twice. Motorola Dropping New Bluetooth!!!

If you don’t actually want to be able to feel that you’ve got a Bluetooth earbud hanging off the side of your head, you might want to take a look at the Motorola Oasis, a new boom-style headset announced today. Though it lacks the so-called “stealth mode” that uses bone conduction to practically eliminate every sound other than your voice, the Oasis is still rated for 12mph of wind resistance and uses dual mics to cancel spurious noise. It’ll be available starting October 3 (as an AT&T store exclusive initially) for $79.99, positioning it toward the upper end of the Bluetooth midrange. Its a bit bigger then the jawbone but it is slightly cheaper 🙂 @TatWza
