Twitter’s latest transparency report was just released, detailing government-backed requests for information, content removal and copyright takedowns. FaceBook’s New Feature Will Make You Go Back In Time?!!
Facebook wants to remind you and all your friends everything you guys were doing exactly one year ago on any given day. The new feature called “On This Day” is popping up on everyones newsfeed. So if last year on this very day you and your ex broke up, yup you guessed it, Facebook will remind you of that! It will also remind you of your status’ and if you happened to change any info such as job, status, location on that given day. FB is constantly testing out new features so lets see if this one sticks around.
Instagram Doesn’t Want WHO Using Their App?!
It seems as though Facebook doesn’t want Windows Phone users to be uploading photos onto Instagram. Apparently Facebook has been deleting all Insta photos uploaded through a third party app called Instance that allows Window Phone users to utilize the app. Although Instance users can upload their photo the photos disappear from the Instagram account. Kevin Systrom, Instagram CEO recently said that Instagram would not be coming to Blackberry or Windows Phone “anytime soon.”

I guess it is inevitable that Instagram will sooner or later fall victim to advertising but I guess it’s nice to have a social media that doesn’t bombard us with ads.
