Since American Idol dropped in ratings due to the Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj drama, FOX has cleaned house and is trying to get some personalities that are outrageous enough to entertain but without the silly beef. Negotiations between CBS and Time Warner have been going back and forth between the two and the verdict is final. CBS in some areas including NYC, LA, and Dallas have officially been dropped from the cable service. This is the first time CBS has EVER been dropped from a cable system!

Unlike the recent bashing of her by “The Color Purple” Co-Star Rae Dawn Chong, this one was brought to light by her constant refusal to appear on David Letterman’s late night show. Being a comedian, it wasn’t long before she became the butt of his jokes for some time. Apparently, her dislike for the show came from personal experiences. During Ramadan, TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s prime-time game show ‘Amaan Ramazan’ airs for seven hours each day. Their 500 guests are quizzed on their knowledge of the Koran and in return get to win some nice gifts like motorbikes and cellphones. Apparently, still not enough to boost ratings.
