Kel Mitchell Is Returning To Nickelodeon With Dan Schneider

ifwt_Kel Mitchell x Dan Schneider

Talk about Throwback Thursday! When’s the last time you heard of these two names together?! Back in the 90s, Kel Mitchell dominated Nickelodeon with his now-estranged best friend Kenan Thompson, starring on All That and its spinoff, Kenan & Kel, both produced by Dan Schneider. Their Good Burger movie involved Dan as well (considering it was from an All That sketch.)

Though Dan has never left the popular kids network – going on to produce shows like iCarly, Zoey 101, Victorious and more, it’s been over a decade since we’ve seen Kel’s face grace the Nickelodeon airwaves, but that will now change with a live-action sitcom named Game Shakers!

Even The Man Who Plays Bennett On ‘OITNB’ Is Mad At What He Did!

DISCLAIMER: SPOILER ALERT BELOW (just so you know before you start reading.)

The Netflix original series Orange Is The New Black took the world by storm and has everyone completely obsessed with the female felons we all know and love. When season 3 arrived, nobody was quite sure of what to expect, but CO Bennett’s sudden departure from the show was definitely NOT on the list of possibilities. After getting inmate Daya pregnant and “proposing” to her (with a ring made out of tin-foil), viewers world-wide thought these two had the ultimate prisoner-correctional officer love story that was going to last forever. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case and Daya is now left alone in prison with a baby who has been taken into child services due to Cesar’s poor decision making.

However, even Matt McGorry, the man who plays CO Bennett, is appalled by his character’s behavior. See what he had to say below!

HBO’s ‘Girls’ Just Got The DOPEST New Cast Member!

With the help of Lena Dunham and the lovely folks over at HBO, they have brought to us one of the greatest Brooklyn-based shows ever. To make the show just THAT much better, the President’s oldest daughter, Maliah Obama, earned herself a spot on the HBO original series Girls. She’s apparently interning for the Summer on the set and will not appear in any super risqué scenes or anything of that sort.

She also interned for Halle Berry’s show “Extant” last Summer, giving her quite the TV production resume. Not sure how they’re going to incorporate her into the next season, but I’m sure it will be brilliant.

Aw, Man! “Maria” From ‘Sesame Street’ Is Retiring After 44 Years!

Sonia Manzano "Maria"

The actress who played Maria on Sesame Street, Sonia Manzano, has been on the show for a whopping 44 years. 44 YEARS! This means that not only did we grow up with her (as I’m assuming our readers are in my age demo,) but if you have kids, they likely watch her right now, and if your parents are a bit younger, they may have grown up with her as well! That’s crazy!

But of course, all good things must come to an end, and after joining the show in 1971 (but not becoming a full-time character until 1974,) Sonia has officially announced her retirement.

(Video) LMAO! Alex Trebek Raps Fresh Prince Theme Song On Jeopardy

Alex Trebek

It is quite clear that our guy Alex Trebek is very much wit the sh*ts.

During last night’s episode of Jeopardy, contestants were required to guess the name of popular sitcoms based on clues surrounding their theme songs. When the Fresh Prince of Bel Air came up, Alex showed out. He even had a backtrack with him!

This isn’t the first time Jeopardy has shown love to the hip-hop culture, having just recently included Nipsey Hussle as part of their questions, and even once having an entire category dedicated to Queen Bey.

Check out the Fresh Prince clip below. Smell ya later!
