Oh, Gucci Mane! Publicity stunts are sooo yesterday! The troubled Atlanta rapper has been on a rampage on Twitter the last couple of days, throwing seemingly unprovoked shots at just about anyone he’s crossed paths with in the music and entertainment industry. No one was safe, not his former Brick Squad team, not his former management, not his label (which we learned in the process is also “former,”) and certainly not the ladies. Tonight we learned that there’s a method to Gucci’s madness though, as a tweet sent just a little while ago revealed the reason he wanted all eyes on him. It’s sad, really, because it truly only sends one message loud and clear: he’s pining for relevancy by any means necessary, and his career just isn’t what it was. She released a preview of three, her dressing as Cara Delevigne, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford. Now people are crying racism, claiming that Tyra Banks is using “whiteface” and that it’s offensive. Gucci Mane has been going off on some pretty in-depth (and confusing) rants on Twitter since yesterday, taking aim at everyone from his former labelmates to colleagues to various women in the business. Of the latter, he fixated mostly on Nicki Minaj, alleging she not only engaged in threesomes with him and Waka Flocka while she was on the comeup, but that he also paid for her living arrangements in exchange for said sexual acts. The feisty Queens raptress has never been one to hold her tongue, and quickly shot back, sharing screen shots of a conversation she’d just had with fellow rapper Tyga, denying Gucci’s very-recent request for a feature. As their tweets continued on, a photo began to circulate on social media, showing Nicki Minaj performing oral sex on a male of Gucci’s complexion, with that infamous belly of his protruding. Though the picture seemed pretty real, Nick’s army of Barbz were quickly able to expose the Photoshop work, and immediately posted up the side-by-side comparison to show that it’s a fake. I am losing brain cells by the minute trying to keep up with and decipher Gucci Mane’s Twitter rants. As you know by now, the ATL rapper began letting his fingers fly on the keyboard yesterday, first taking aim at his former artists and attempting to explain how they’re disloyal, all the while taunting the few of them that he still has under contract (namely Waka Flocka.) Today he focused on the ladies (and their respective spouses, if applicable,) and named dozens of women in the entertainment industry that apparently he can lay claim to bedding. The two he elaborated most on were Nicki Minaj, and Tyga’s girlfriend/child’s mother, Blac Chyna. Both Nicki and Tyga quickly took to Twitter to issue responses, revealing screen shots of text messages from Gucci asking for a feature just last week, then showing a conversation amongst themselves agreeing that they didn’t want to do it. Obviously, this could be the reason this whole rant even began.

Gucci Mane has become the most interesting thing to happen to Twitter in quite some time, though it’s kind of sad in a “watching a trainwreck in progress” type of way. The Atlanta rapper has been filling timelines with his grammatically flawed messages since yesterday, making some bold claims about the advance money he gave to his former artists (like Waka Flocka, French Montana, Frenchie BSM), as well as about dozens of industry women he allegedly bedded.
