Elliott Wilson spits the truth once again with this one. If you didn’t know, this past Sunday, Lupe got kicked out of an Inauguration gala in Washington at the Hamilton Live theater as apart of the StartUp RockOn. It was all because he was spitting controversial and inappropriate lyrics, an anti-war rap. “Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist,” he rapped. “Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say (bleep). That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either.” No surprise at all considering we know that Lupe is the type to drown and surround himself in the media’s eye. Lupe left the crowd dissatisfied, leaving organizers to be forced to move on to the next act. In this webispode of “The Truth With Elliot Wilson” he questions whether or not Lupe really surrounds himself in drama, attention and controversy. It makes us wonder, we know that Lupe has publically critizised Obama in the past, WHY would he even be invited to an inauguration party. I mean, I guess it’s all about free speech, right? He claims “‘Boy Meets World’ can pull it off so can Bayside High!” He was caught leaving the B.O.A. Steakhouse this past weekend and he was asked if he would be watching the new, latest version of “Boy Meets World” which will now be called “Girl Meets World” He responds, by saying he would watch the show and even, “maybe we’ll do a reunion as well.” See the video of our favorite high school stud below! For his 2nd term, Jennifer Hudson was blessed with the opportunity to perform Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” for the first couple as they took over the dance floor. Hudson was rather extra excited, tweeting, “Right now the President and First Lady will dance to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together,’ to be performed by… ME!!! Yes! Amazing night!” Good for you J. Hud! She also tweets while she’s there and says, “Just danced to ‘Let’s Stay Together’ with the love of my life and the President of the United States. I’m so proud of Barack” Dope! When dealing with A$AP Rocky he seems to always think outside of the box. I love how open-minded his when it comes down to being an eclectic musician. This time Rocky wants to do a collaboration with a British singer/songwriter by the name of Jessie Ware. “I knew about her since last summer. I’m working with her, I’m going to work with her. I want to bad,” Rocky says. You can tell he’s feeling her. “I don’t care about her being a star, I just think she has a beautiful voice and a lot of talent. I haven’t got the chance or honour to meet her yet – I just love her art,” he adds. That’s all that should matter. I checked out Jessie’s U.S. single, “Wildest Moments” and think the two would mesh very well in a collab. They have the same feel. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.
