Subaru has just revealed this, the XV Concept, at the Shanghai Motor Show. Although it looks like an Outback with an arced roof, it’s a substantially smaller crossover – seven inches shorter in length, an inch narrower and about two inches lower. Even if considered a mini Outback with wheel-arch cladding, its design is said to be something completely new: “Protren,” defined as “express[ing] the integration of ‘authentic functionality as a professional tool’ and ‘urban and stylish design’.”

Joseph Patrick Mauer (born April 19, 1983) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Minnesota Twins. Mauer is regarded as one of the best defensive and offensive catchers in baseball. He is the only catcher in Major League history to win three batting titles. He has also won three consecutive Gold Glove awards (2008–2010), and the 2009 AL MVP award.

On March 21, 2010, Mauer agreed to an eight-year contract extension with the Twins worth $184 million, which will take effect from the 2011 season to the 2018 season. It is the richest contract in the history of major league baseball for a catcher
