The stereotype of elderly drivers preferring Lincolns and Buicks has to come from somewhere. TrueCar.com took a look at the past two years of car sales to buyers at least 65 years old and found a couple common threads. The first thing these buyers are looking for is familiarity. The nameplates and vehicle types that were popular when these buyers were younger rank high with senior buyers, kind of the same way people’s musical preferences get frozen in time.

Former third grade teacher Kimberly Ann Crain, 48, has been arrested and accused of making child porn involving her students. The teacher is also accused of sharing the child pornography with a professor of early childhood development, Gary Doby age 65. The pair were arrested on Thursday in Oklahoma. An Okhlahoma proscutor said that he fully expects more young victims to come forward in the case against Crain. Read more after the jump.
Members of the GOP are bring the debate of unemployment drug testing to the House floor this week. According to some Republicans, the people who depend on unemployment can’t find a job because of their bad decisions. This isn’t the first time the Republicans have brought up drug testing people on unemployment but they are hoping it will be the last. Currently the only law, in 20 states in place regarding drugs and collecting unemployment states that a person is disqualified for unemployment benefits if they were fired for drug-related reasons.
