Darling pop diva Britney Spears flies into number one this week with the debut of “Femme Fatale” selling 276,000 units. Wiz Khalifa takes number two with his major label debut, “Rolling Papers” at 197k. Congrats to both on those big numbers! Rumors were swirling Wiz had only sold 6k and I’m glad those numbers were VERY off. You can’t deny hits like “Black & Yellow” and “Roll Up!”
Adele’s “21″ took 93k landing the number 3 spot, Breezy has another strong week with “F.A.M.E.” taking number 4 at 91k, and the “Songs for Japan” charity compilation sold even more than last week…pushing 71k and landing in the number 5 spot.
Radiohead’s “The King of Limbs” is at number 6 with 69k, Jennifer Hudson’s “I Remember Me” is lucky number 7 with 56k. Snoop Dogg’s “Doggumentary” debuts with great numbers as well, pushing 50k in its first week and landing the number 8 spot. This is Snoop’s 11th Top 10 album!! Gospel rounds out the top 10, as Kirk Franklin’s “Hello Fear” is number 9 with 46k and Mary Mary debuting “Something Big” at 42k.
