So, after one suspect (Carlton Berry) being arrested and charged with aggravated assault, there comes another, Trey Foster. Initially there were suppose to be two shooters in the Lone Star College incident, but officials are saying that there was only ONE gun. Check this out, there is a third guy that’s said to be involved. Berry and Foster are suppose to be friends, and then you throw in Jody Neal, who according to Foster “bumped” him. You’re going to jail over a bump ??? This is crazy. Check them out in the gallery.
Fox says the remaining Ben and Kate episodes will air at some point (there are six left). Given Ben and Kate‘s ratings, the move wasn’t a surprise (if anything, some were shocked the show received an order for additional episodes last fall). This isn’t one of those decisions where you say, “The network didn’t give it a chance.” Read more below!!
WME has landed Oprah Winfrey. About a month after exiting her longtime agency CAA, WME’s Ari Emanuel has signed the OWN CEO. The news comes a week after Winfrey’s newsmaking interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, which was watched by 3.2 million viewers over two nights Jan. 17 and 18. The interview, which became the second-most watched OWN program after Winfrey’s exclusive sit-down with Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, brought copious media attention to Winfrey’s still-nascent channel and might have spurred potential new viewers to find it on their cable systems. If you are from the New York area, you know how bitterly cold it has been around here lately. Every day for the past few days, people have braced the cold by bundling in numerous layers and even that isn’t helping many. It’s so cold, that people have been advised to stay indoors if it is possible and many have taken that advice including murderers. This past week NYC has had a completely murder-less week. From Wednesday to Wednesday, there has not been a reported homicide in the city. The last time NYC had a murder-less week was during Hurricane Sandy, in which surprisingly crime rates were down everywhere. The NYPD knows that the crime rate won’t always stay this long, but it’s certainly not a bad thing. Read more below.
I wish this story would disappear the same way Te’o disappeared during the BCS title game. Pow! Zing! But seriously I am so fed up with the coverage this guy is getting from the media. I hope everyone realizes at the end of the day if he winds up being part of the hoax it really doesn’t mean anything. No laws were broken and no rules were violated. Worst case NFL teams will think twice about him, which I am sure they already are doing. We are basically covering an over-hyped linebacker who I am expecting will not be anymore than an average NFL player. But, news is news and there is a new update to this story with a twist. Apparently, this dude is the hip-hop spirit guide. A$AP Yams is his name and he seems to be the leader behind the Mob on the rise. “Yams is the hip-hop encyclopedia,” Rocky said. “He’s no joke. That’s one person I can’t front on when it comes to music.” At the age of 16 Yams interned at Diplomats Records, and managed a few producers, helping them sell their songs to rappers. Music was his thing. In 2008 is when Yams hooked up with Rocky and from there it all sky-rocketed. The two had to be in the studio almost daily, so that Rocky could find the type of voice that suited him. Looks like it all worked out for the best. Drop down bottom for more on Yams.
