If you’re in the market for a new car, but especially if you’re looking at a fuel-efficient Japanese model, experts say you’re better off buying now because prices will only get higher in coming weeks as the effects of the earthquake in Japan and the unrest in Libya and the Middle East start to be felt.
Up to now, Japan’s earthquake has had little effect on prices of Japanese cars here. For the most part, dealers already had cars on their lots with more coming on ships and trucks. Read more…

Even though he recently lost a few of his dancers in lieu of his trip to Japan, that didn’t stop Ne-Yo on his journey to help the country in need. He’s doing a line up of shows he’d set up prior to the quake and tsunami, and according to his Twitter, all the proceeds from wristbands his team created for the shows will go directly to the victims of the quake. They also have donation boxes that will be placed through out the venues. Hit the jump and watch as Ne-Yo arrives in Japan and the joyful tears he brings his fans!

Former football star Lawrence Taylor has been sentenced in New York to six years on probation after a judge refused to allow a teenage prostitute to speak.
The ex-New York Giants football star pleaded guilty in January to sexual misconduct and having sex with the underage prostitute. The girl, now 17, appeared in court with well-known attorney Gloria Allred. Read more…

The former GOP vice presidential candidate arrived in Israel Sunday for a two-day visit.
Ben Smith in Politico reports that the trip was booked through a Christian tour operator. But the real news is who did not book the trip: the Republican Jewish Coalition, the group that brought George W.
