Ichiro Suzuki has donated 100 million yen ($1.24 million) to the Japanese Red Cross for earthquake relief efforts in his native country, the Kyodo News reported Friday.
Ichiro’s management company BowPlanning told the Kyodo News of his donation, but the player declined to comment. Read more…

After a school in West Philly reported that 60 laptops were stolen, The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and the Charlie Mack Cares organization donated 30 new laptops to replace some of the stolen ones. The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation was created to help inner-city children and their families. I think it’s awesome that the power couple helps those who really need it, especially the children. Read the full story after the jump.

Mark Geragos, Nate Dogg’s attorney, confirmed earlier that Nate Dogg’s death was due to complications of multiple strokes. Nate Dogg had suffered from two major strokes in a 10 month period and his body couldn’t recover. Geragos also made a statement from Nate’s family thanking everyone for their support. RIP Nate Dogg. Read the full statement after the jump.
