Dodge is spicing up the Challenger line with a new eye-searing paint color. The hue is called Green With Envy, and it’s supposed to pay homage to some of the wilder colors from the company’s past, including Sublime and Green Go. Buyers will be able to grab their new green Challenger in one of two configurations, including a new R/T Classic that serves up the company’s 372-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine with two A-line body stripes. The accents are available in either matte black or white.

Rhys Millen drove his new Hyundai Veloster Rally Car into the spotlight at the Chicago Auto Show this morning. The purpose-built racer is fitted with a hand-built Hyundai 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine boosted by a HKS ball bearing turbocharger. As expected, the beast makes some serious power.

Italian prosecutors and the Italian Olympic Committee are investigating reports cyclist Riccardo Ricco was hospitalized after an alleged self-inflicted blood transfusion.

The Gazzetto dello Sport reported Wednesday that doctors at Pavullo Hospital in Modena quoted Ricco as saying he administered a transfusion on himself using blood stored in the refrigerator for 25 days. Read more…

Danica Patrick will increase her NASCAR Nationwide Series participation to 12 races this year in addition to competing full-time in the IZOD IndyCar Series, JR Motorsports announced Wednesday.

Patrick, who added the Nationwide Series last year with JR Motorsports to her schedule, will compete in the first four Nationwide Series races — Daytona (Feb. 19), Phoenix (Feb. 26), Las Vegas (March 5) and Bristol, Tenn. (March 19). Read more…
