NBA: Toronto Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo Says the Team is ‘Embarrassing’

I guess giving Landry Fields $20 million for three years isn’t working out too well for the Toronto Raptors (I kid… well not really).  The 4-16 team is currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and performing well below expectations though some games were tough losses.  President and general manager Bryan Colangelo finds it downright ’embarrassing’.  Read more after the jump. Notorious B.I.G.’s Lawyer Slams LAPD For Autopsy Report Release

A few days ago, the autopsy report conducted after the death of the Notorious B.I.G. was released almost 16 years after the rapper’s death. Now lawyers representing Biggie are blasting the LAPD for the release of the information. Perry Sanders Jr. said instead of an autopsy report, the LAPD should be releasing details about his murder. Sanders also pretty much posed the question of what good is it to release the autopsy report since the LAPD claims the released the report pictures to bring on new leads. I agree with Sanders, if the police claim they haven’t had a good lead in the 16 years B.I.G. has been dead, what is an autopsy report going to do? I think releasing the information is tasteless and disrespectful to Biggie’s children and his mother. Read more below. Julie A.

(Video) NBA: Kevin Garnett Blames His 0 Rebound Game On The Statistician & Rondo Hoggin Rebounds

Last night the Boston Celtics pulled off a 92-79 win over the Philadelphia 76ers despite a zero rebound game from Kevin Garnett.  Garnett has only had 4 games out of 1,274 in his career where he has been rebound-less.  He swears he had one in the first quarter as he explicitly calls out the statistician, jokingly claiming it was “f****ing bulls***”.  He even mentioned Rajon Rondo hoggin all the rebounds as Rondo has been putting up impressive numbers and double-doubles.  Check it out after the jump. “Gangnam Style” Singer Apologizes For Anti-American Lyrics

Korean pop star PSY, who got a crazy amount of fame after his song “Gangnam Style” became the most viewed YouTube video ever, has issued an apology for his 2004 anti-American song. The lyrics of the song call for the death of American troops serving in Iraq. The song was written after a South Korean hostage was slayed by Iraqi insurgents and a anti-American sentiment spread across South Korea. When the media found out that PSY had these lyrics, it sparked an outrage in America and many people began to bash the singer regardless of the countless Americans who feel almost the same way he does. One day America is going to learn that the whole world doesn’t have to like us and although calling for the death of American troops is extremely harsh, many Americans do say the same thing often. How many times have you heard an American say “we should just blow up all of Iraq or Afghanistan?” that’s as equally wrong as everything PSY said.  Read more below. Julie A.

Cory Booker To Announce Governor Or Senate Bid In Two Weeks

There have been countless rumors that Newark mayor, Cory Booker, will be running for Governor in 2013, but Mayor Booker said that may not be the case. Mayor Booker stated that he might be running for Senate and not Governor in the forthcoming election. We are expected to hear his decision sometime within the next two weeks. He said there are many good Democrats that intend on running for Governor in this election, which is great cause in my opinion Christie has got to go! Regardless of whether he decided to run for Senate or Governor, I’m sure Mayor Booker will succeed in either position as he did being mayor. Mayor Booker is probably the most liked mayor that I can remember, even Republicans like him and praise him! Read more below. Julie A.
