Gun fire rang at Bryant Park’s ice rink in New York City on Saturday night. The shooter, described as a black male with dreadlocks, was standing outside the crowded rink and opened fire around 11 p.m. A 20 year old man was shot in his arm and 14 year old Adonis Mera was hit in the back. The teenager is feared to be paralyzed and unable to walk. Authorities report that the shooting may have occurred over a coat. To read more, click below.
NFL: The 49ers, the NFL, and the Mayor All Release Statements About Candlestick Shootings
The San Francisco 49ers, the NFL, and the mayors of San Francisco and Oakland all released statements today related to the numerous violent incidents that took place at or near Candlestick Park Saturday evening during and after the 49ers-Raiders game. There were reportedly two shootings and several other attacks, which the police are currently investigating. NFL: 2 Shot in Candlestick Lot After Raiders-49ers Game

A man wearing a shirt slamming the San Francisco 49ers was seriously wounded as gunfire erupted in the parking lot after the team’s NFL preseason game, while another man sustained lesser injuries in an earlier shooting, police said.
