In an interview with REVOLT earlier this year, the Jamaica Queens business man made no hesitation to reference his idol — his grandmother. Fif mentioned that when it came time to follow up to 2003’s 6x platinum selling Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ with The Massacre, his first song crafted was the album closer, “God Gave Me Style.” That track, according to Mr. Jackson, was important “because if you asked me to make one wish, it would be for that record to be a success. And you know what happens? When I make the song, I go to my grandma house and I play the record for her. And she’s like, ‘Wow you got one for me’.”

When being a male groupie goes wrong? 3 deputies of the Palm Beach County Sherriff’s department have received “verbal counseling,” after they all decided to pose for pics…and share them all over social media…with Fif when he was at their local courthouse earlier this month for a lawsuit. The disciplinary report states that they gave “a poor perspective and lack of neutrality” and were “neglecting their assigned duties.”
