Tech Talk News: Apple Working On Enhanced A5 Chip (A5X) AND Completely new chip (A6)

  Typically when an Apple product launch approaches, many industry watchers offer conflicting views on what new features the new product sports. Fifth-generation iPhone rumors mostly conflicted in terms of the product’s design, but most industry watchers seemed to agree on features such as an improved camera and a dual-core processor. With the upcoming iPad 3, most industry watchers seem to agree on a design similar to the iPad 2′s design and a Retina Display. Tech Talk News: Samsung Facility Supplies Apple A5 Chip And Maybe A6

  Apple has again turned to Samsung for production of its iPad 2 and iPhone 4S processor, with a 1.6m square foot production facility in Austin, Texas, responsible for churning out the dual-core Apple A5 chipset. The $3.6bn production line only reached full capacity this month, Reuters‘ sources claim, with the bulk of the output going to satisfy Apple’s endless hunger for processors.
