Upon releasing his sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP. this week, fans quickly gravitated toward the album cut “Better Things” – as the tea he spilled on Rita Ora was just TEW. MUCH! “I swear that b*tch Rita Ora got a big mouth,” Rocky raps on the track. “Next time I see her might curse the b*tch out/Kicked the b*tch out once cause she b*tched out/Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the b*tch bounce.” Since then, the Harlem rapper has explained that he didn’t mean to put Rita down, but was simply expressing his frustration due to the fact that he did indeed mess with Rita…but it was while he was still with Chanel Iman, and Rita’s blabbing apparently led to their breakup. Doesn’t make it right…but I get it. Either way, now his A$AP Mob members are getting in on the fun, and Twelvy took to Twitter to take a quick jab at the UK songstress as well. Poor girl! As the Hip Hop industry mourns the death of fallen co founder A$AP Yams, A$AP Rocky took some time to discuss his thoughts on the tragedy, while debuting his big acting role in ‘Dope’ during the Sun Dance Film Festival.
NYPD Releases Statement About The Death Of A$AP Yams
Though it’s been 4 days since the tragic passing of A$AP Yams, little to no details surrounding the cause of death have come out. Speculation has named a battle with addiction to a codeine and Xanax combo, while others close to him are blaming Yams’ severe sleep apnea as the culprit, but neither have yet to be confirmed or denied. Though they didn’t provide any more details as to why, the NYPD has at least helped to answer the “how,” shedding some light as to the sequence of events that led up to the tragedy. In a statement to The FADER, the NYPD press relations office revealed that Yams’ roommate found him laying down unconscious and unresponsive early on Sunday morning, then called 911. He was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn with “no apparent signs of trauma.” “Following the examination, the cause and manner of death are pending further studies,” their spokesperson said. More details will be revealed within the next few weeks. Our prayers are with the Mob!
