NBA: Brandon Jennings Out 6-9 Months With Torn Achilles

Brandon Jennings had to be helped to the locker room late in the third quarter of the Detroit Pistons Saturday night 101-86 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.  Jennings fell to the floor, grabbing his leg and writhing in pain.  “It doesn’t look good,” coach Stan Van Gundy said. “It is a major, major loss.”  That injury has now been diagnosed as a full Achilles tear.


NBA: Kobe Bryant Says Rehab is Ahead of Schedule: ‘If there was a playoff game tonight, I’d play’

Kobe Bryant suffered a torn Achilles in April and as expected has not played yet this season.  Of course without their superstar player the Lakers are off to a slow start with a 4-7 record and 12th in the Western Conference.  What wasn’t expected by many is how fast Bryant is recovering after surgery and extensive rehab.  In fact the Black Mamba said if there was a playoff game tonight, he’d play.


NBA: Kobe Bryant Injury Update: He Might Be Back REAL Soon

If you know the Black Mamba then you know Kobe Bryant is working very hard to come back and hit the court.  Though the Lakers haven’t been as bad as everyone thought they would be, they’re currently 1-2 without their star player and go to shooter.  Well it turns out he might be back sooner than expected.


NBA: Clippers Veteran Guard Chauncey Billups Eyes December Return

The Los Angeles Clippers are pretty stacked though they are without veteran point guard Chauncey Billups.  He suffered an achilles tear and has been very careful about his return trying to make sure he’s fully healed.  Now it appears he might finally have a return date.  Read more after the jump.
