This week was the 12th anniversary of 9/11 and although there are many mixed emotions about this tragic day, sadness is the most common. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for Ayman al-Zawahri,leader of the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. In a speech delivered a day after 9/11, Ayman al-Zawahri ,urged Al Qaeda “brothers” to carry out more attacks on US soil! Should we be worried? U.S. Drone Strike Kills Al Qaeda Leader
Al Qaeda Leader, Sheik Khalid Bin Abdel Rehman Al-Hussainan, has been killed in Pakistan after a U.S. drone strike. The drone strike occurred on Thursday in a Pakistan tribal region near the border of Afghanistan. Al-Hussainan was currently the senior leader of the Pakistan Al Qaeda group and the second in overall command. Al-Hussainan become second in command after a U.S. drone strike back in June took out the top leader. The U.S. is hopeful that the loss of one of the leaders will set Al-Qaeda back. Read more below.
