Album Cover: Ludacris – Ludaversal

Two years ago, Ludacris drove his 93 Acura Legend (which I’m assuming he’s kept over the years to remind him of where he started) up to his private plane, and posted the photo on Instagram with the caption:

My plane & my 93 Acura Legend. It’s doesn’t get much more Gangsta than that. Lol

Now as he gears up to release his new album Ludaversal on March 31, the father-to-be (again) has decided to use the image as his album cover. Started.

Album Cover: Big Sean – Dark Sky Paradise

After a relatively quiet 2014, Big Sean came out of nowhere in early September, announcing a new management deal (Roc Nation) and releasing 4 songs at once – one of which went on to be a super smash, “IDFWU.” Now a few months later, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is gearing up for the release of his third studio album, and has announced the project’s title: Dark Sky Paradise. Our friends over at HHMM noted that Sean had DJ Dahi, DJ Mustard, Travi$ Scott, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Boi-1da all share the cover on their social media accounts – a possible hint at what collabs to expect on the project! Along with the cover and title reveal, Sean also released a snippet of a collab from the project with his longtime friend, Drake. Listen to a quick preview of the track below!

(Video) Fabolous Signs To Roc Nation; Announces ‘Young OG’ Digital Album

Fabolous always drops solid projects around the holidays, but it’s usually in the form of a mixtape. This time, we’ll be getting a full album, which Loso announced today via MTV. Along with the announcement he signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation imprint (I’m unsure whether for a record label or for management,) Fabolous confirmed that Young OG will drop on digital retailers on Christmas, and the first single from the project will be called “Lituation.” “This is a word that I’ve been hearing floating around and I thought, why not make a song out of it?’” Fab said about the song title. “It’s really about a situation that can get lit. You can come into a situation and it can be [calm] and you can turn it up and get it a little lit. It’s a very aggressive New York street record and I wanted to start with that just to get the feel, and get you there first, [then] the rest of the album will take you different places.” As for the album, it will be “very ’90s-inspired and ’90s themed,” which makes sense with his recent birthday party! “It was a golden era in hip-hop to me,” Fab said. “It was where I fell in love with hip-hop and really admired everything that was going on within the culture. I was introduced to hip-hop in the ’80s but the ’90s is when it flourished and you saw different people, different styles and different regions emerge – it was a very diverse and…

Album Cover: Eminem – Shady XV

Eminem is taking it “back to basics” with his forthcoming compilation project Shady XV, and last night, took to Instagram to reveal the cover artwork in a quick video (below.) Looks like someone is ready for the upcoming holiday, hmm? Shady XV hits stores November 24.

EP Release Date: Joe Budden – Some Love Lost

This is going to be good. We all know that the Mood Gawd Joe Budden makes his best music when he’s going through some ish, and with all of his recent drama, this should make for quite the soundtrack on the forthcoming Some Love Lost, dropping November 4. There are only 3 tracks on it according to Joe’s tweets, but it looks like they’re going to be intense! OLS3 times 4? LOL! “#SLL def gonna have n*ggas calling their ex w some choice words,” Joe wrote on Twitter. “This #SLL sounds so smooth… A hurt n*gga in pain made this sh*t,” he later added. The title follows his 2013 album, No Love Lost, which was made in his happier times during his relationship with Kaylin Garcia. All Love Lost is on the way as well.
