John Wall helped six-year old Miyah meet Nicki Minaj before she passed away from cancer. Wall and Nicki only met once but they formed a bond and friendship through Miyah. Nicki helped repay Wall for his caring and generosity by helping him become a starter in the upcoming NBA All-Star game in New York City.

Kyle Lowry was high on the list of All-Star snubs a season ago, and Raptors coach Dwane Casey wants to make sure it won’t happen again. The Raptors currently have a 24-10 record in the 3rd spot of the Eastern Conference. They managed to continue to perform well despite losing their leading scorer at the time, DeMar DeRozan who went down with an injury that forced him to miss the last 18 games. Lowry has stepped up in DeRozan’s absence but the fans haven’t quite taken notice if you check the All-Star voting.

Sports (Report): NBA To Tweak All-Star Game Balloting Process
After carefully weighing both sides of the argument, the NBA is ready to re-cast its ballot. The league is set to tweak its All-Star Game balloting process, doing away with position designations for forwards and centers and instead asking fans to vote for three “frontcourt” players, according to NBA.com.
