Amanda Bynes has been released after just two weeks from the facility she’s been held at for her looney ways. Although sources close to the troubled actress explain that she’s been taking her meds, the doctors say she is still extremely insane in the membrane (literally.) On Thursday night, the former Nickelodeon star was spotted roaming the Sunset Strip looking for a place to stay when she finally ended up at a diner by herself. She ordered fried chicken, salmon, caesar salad with guacamole and a house salad and ate it ALL by herself while talking to the waitress about a bunch of nonsense. Amanda Bynes Was Buying WHAT For Strangers?
Not only is Amanda Bynes’ mental health in dire need of help, her pockets almost were too. The troubled former child star has officially been put back under a conservatorship of her parents, after they revealed to the judge that Amanda spent “alarming amounts” of money on purchasing jewelry for strangers. (Damn, I kind of wish I was around! Am I a jerk for that?!) In the newly filed court documents, Amanda’s parents say she is a “substantial risk” to herself and others, citing her erratic behavior, including her DUI arrest last month, her shoplifting and her bizarre and sometimes violent conduct in NYC. They also reveal just how much she’d been spending, saying the gift purchases have been “extensive.” Her net worth is listed as $5,747,703.36, and of that, $2.8 mil is homes that she owns. They added that the only money she made in 2013 was $144,768 from a home she rented out. Man, good thing they got her when they did. I am so sad for this girl! Praying she really gets the help she needs for good this time.
Amanda Bynes Too Sick To Be Released; Doctors Extend Stay
Amanda Bynes’ mental health has yet to improve. It’s so bad, in fact, that her doctors secretly got an order from a judge that allows them to hold her for another month! Amanda has been held on an involuntary commitment at a psychiatric facility for the last 17 days, and this will allow for at least another 30 days. Her parents are still unsure whether they will try for another conservatorship since she feels “betrayed” by them, but the likely scenario is that the psychiatric hold will be extended for a long time.
Amanda Bynes May Be Held For Up To 1 Year On Involuntary Confinement
As Amanda Bynes’ condition has gone from bad to worse, the former child star is headed for another conservatorship, but instead of her parents this time, doctors are planning to get the type that can keep her confined and medicated for up to 1 year – an LPS Hold. The LPS Hold allows doctors to confine Amanda at either the hospital or another secure facility, and administer medication against her will. As you’ll recall, Amanda just came off of an LPS Hold last month, but it’s clear that it wasn’t enough help. Her doctors will reportedly ask a judge for a new LPS Hold within a week, after Amanda is fully diagnosed.
