(Photos) Andre 3000 Covers Billboard Magazine & Makes It Clear – There’s No Outkast Album!

Andre 3000 has been a busy man, celebrating 20 years of Outkast with the other half of the duo, Bog Boi and he’s also been working hard on the upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic. In-between performing, the inspirational lyricist talks with Billboard Magazine about being, “out of touch” with the happenings of Ferguson, his journey since Outkast and more. “At this age, the driver is just different, and I think for every artist, you’ve got to find out what’s pushing you,” Andre says. “Like, what do you do it for? I didn’t grow up as a kid saying, ‘Man, I want to grow up to be a music star.’” Hit the jump for more.

Will There Be A New Andre 3K Album On The Way?!?!

Please say YES! One of the illest to ever hop on a track is thinking of releasing a new album. Andre 3000 spoke to the New York Times about his Jimi Hendrix biopic when they decided to talk music. Drop down bottom for more.

(Video) T-Pain Wants To Call On Andre 3K & Rihanna For “Up Down” Remix

B.o.B., 2 Chainz and Snoop Dogg are confirmations on the forthcoming “Up Down” T-Mix, as T-Pain calls it, but he would REALLY enjoy these two individuals – Rihanna and Andre 3000. Wouldn’t you want them on your track? T-Pain admits that Andre is his idol, and that he actually got a chance to speak with him over the telephone about said remix. No promises were made, but the, “I’m Sprung” singer remains hopeful, along with the wishful thinking that since Riri twerked to the original track, she’ll want to hop on the remix. Welp, Good Luck! Check out a snippet of the remix, after the jump.

(Video) The Truth With Elliott Wilson: Will Andre 3K Ever Make Another Album

For YN’s latest segment of “The Truth,” he weighs in on whether or not Andre 3000 will ever release another full album. Andre has been dodging an album since Outkast’s Idlewild back in 2006. Big Boi has been talking about a 3K album since 2010 when he was asked if we would hear new Outkast music. Recently it seemed after his verse on Tip’s “Sorry,” that Andre and Big Boi weren’t even really speaking then they both appeared on Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” and gave fans hope. That hope, sadly, was short lived when Andre straight out said that the music was not an Outkast project leaving many of us disappointed. For a while now, I have been thinking that we’ll never hear new music from Outkast and that Andre will not be releasing a new album, just a few verses here and there and it seems that YN has the same thought.
