At 6-foot-8 Andrew Wiggins attacks like D-Wade, jumps like Dr. J, and closes like Kobe but he’s referred to as the “Canadian Lebron”.  The megastar baller hasn’t even played one game at the collegiate level yet but he’s already projected as the No. 1 pick in the 2014 draft and is touted as the next Lebron.  In an interview with GQ magazine Wiggins actually denounces the comparison and says which player is a better fit.

For those basketball fans that really don’t start following players until college and the NBA, then you missed out on Andrew Wiggins. The buzz surrounding him the past couple years is comparable to the attention Lebron was getting during his senior year in high school. A freak of an athlete with incredible skills that seem as if he has been a pro for years already, Wiggins who is from Canada, played high school ball at Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He committed to play college at the University of Kansas for his upcoming freshman season, but if not for the rule not allowing kids to enter the NBA straight from High School anymore, he would of been the #1 pick in last years draft. he hasn’t even played his first college game yet, but everyone knows he will only be there for this season. NBA: Andrew Wiggins Reveals What NBA Team He Wants to Play For

Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins hasn’t played one college game yet but he’s already projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 draft.  The basketball sensation has drawn comparisons to Lebron James and is expected to be a huge game changer.  In fact there’s already jokes about teams “tanking for Wiggins”.  While we don’t know exactly where he’ll end up due to the NBA lottery, it’s already clear what team Wiggins wants to play for.  Read more after the jump.
