At just 22-years old and three seasons in the league, Anthony Davis is making quite a name for himself.  The stat stuffer was selected to the All-NBA First Team last season, is a two-time All-Star, and is beginning to enter MVP conversations.  In fact he’s being mentioned among guys like LeBron James and Kevin Durant but he says he’s not quite there yet.

Shaquille O’Neal’s son Shareef is already making waves at just 15-years old and already 6-foot-8.  Unlike his father, he has a mid-range game, capable of scoring from the perimeter and can handle the ball.  So instead of patterning his game after his father, Shaq wants his son to learn from someone else.

This time around for NBA 2K16, 2K Sports decided to go with three cover athletes, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis.  The game will be available in October but the company is allowing people to preorder now.  To help build excitement they released screenshots from the game and they look pretty great.

On Saturday, Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher came to Twitter bearing good news: New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis owns a pet monkey. His name is Meek, and Meek is already a star.

NBA: Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry Says Anthony Davis is “The best player in the NBA, not named LeBron James”

Fresh off his championship win as the assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, Alvin Gentry was officially introduced as the new head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans.  Gentry has already let it be known about his excitement in coaching Anthony Davis, mouthing during the Warriors celebration that he and Davis would soon be there.  Now during his introductory press conference, Gentry expressed just how great of a player he thinks Davis is.
