NFL: Adrian Peterson Loses His Appeal For Indefinite Suspension, Must Wait Till Next year

Adrian Peterson had his appeal for his indefinite suspension and to get back on the field this season denied just a short time ago by the independent arbitrator that was listening to both sides. In upholding the NFL’s initial ruling that Peterson violated the league’s personal conduct policy with his child abuse charges, Harold Henderson concluded that Peterson “has not demonstrated that the process and procedures surrounding his discipline were not fair and consistent.” Wrote Henderson: “He was afforded all the protections and rights to which he is entitled, and I find no basis to vacate or reduce the discipline.” Peterson is now expected to appeal one more time at the federal level. With today’s ruling, he would have to wait until at least April 15th, 2015 to be reinstated.

(Photo) NFL: Lil Boosie Is Giving Adrian Peterson His Full Support!

Not that the NFL or anyone involved in the appeal hearing for Adrian Peterson is going to give a crap, but a well known, well liked rapper is showing AP some love while he goes through this. Lil Boosie linked up with AP in Texas after Peterson returned home from New York where the meetings were going on. Boosie love sports and says Peterson “still sees greatness” in him and doesn’t hold anything against him for the way he disciplined his child. Having Boosie on his side won’t help him any in the courtroom but it’s cool to see some big names still showing love for him and not hiding cause some heat is on him. Hit the jump.

NFL: Report, Adrian Peterson Will Be Reinstated By Next Week, Could Play This Season

Adrian Peterson’s appeal for his suspension from the NFL until next year is scheduled to conclude today and there are reports that Peterson is likely to win his appeal and would be reinstated early next week. That would then allow him to play this season as long as the Vikings wanted him to play. The Vikings could choose to just not play him since it will only be a few weeks left in the season by that point and the Vikings are going nowhere fast. The Fact that AP is looking like he might win the appeal is big news however because it will be another black mark on Roger Goodell’s term as commissioner when it comes to player punishment.

NFL: Report, Multiple Teams Would Accept Ray Rice Into Their Locker Room

Ray Rice won his appeal yesterday and was immediately cleared to sign with any NFL team he wants. My personal belief is that there is no way any team will sign him this season with all the media attention it will bring. If teams wait till the offseason and let the story die down somewhat, odds are the outcome will turn out better. However there are multiple teams and players already saying he would be welcome to their organization.

NFL: Colin Kaepernick Fined $11K For Inappropriate Language – But What Did He Say?! Check The Video…

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick has been fined $11k by the NFL after he received an unsportsmanlike penalty for inappropriate language in Sunday’s game vs the Bears.  He will appeal the fine because he says he didn’t say anything wrong.  Every fan is wondering what he allegedly said.  There was a lot of talk on Twitter that he used the N-word, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.  A video has emerged — but unless you can read lips we may never know what he really said.  Many fans think he says, “Back the fuck up” in the video. I think if he’s getting fined, the refs should have to reveal his exact words.  Check out what the official who threw the flag had to say, along with Kaepernick’s comments & the actual video — and let us know what you think…
