NFL: Roddy White Wants to Sign With a Super Bowl Contender or He’ll Retire

Roddy White was released by the Atlanta Falcons is March and is still currently a free agent.  He says if he doesn’t play for a contender then he’d he content with retirement.


NFL: Anti-Gay Law In Georgia Could Cost Falcons Chance To Host Future Super Bowls

The governor of Georgia has a very big decision on his hands, one with tons of financial impact hanging in the balance. Governor Nathan Deal is considering singing a bill that will essentially legalize anti-gay discrimination in the state. The NFL is letting it be known he may want to strongly reconsider signing that bill and they are using the Super Bowl as a threat.

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Washington Redskins 25-10 in overtime while the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 27-24 in overtime on Sunday.  The Falcons remained undefeated at 5-0 while the Seahawks fell to 2-3.  Following the Falcons game Future tweeted his support for the team.  Of course it was only a matter of time before Twitter went in saying Future’s support is the reason for the Falcons success while the “Ciara curse” and her relationship with quarterback Russell Wilson is the reason for the former Super Bowl champs demise.


NFL: Mercedes Benz Buys Naming Rights to Falcons New Stadium In Addition to Saints

The Atlanta Falcons’ new stadium officially got its name today: Mercedes-Benz Stadium.  Falcons owner Arthur Blank announced, as expected, that Mercedes Benz, a corporate newcomer to metro Atlanta, has bought the naming rights to the $1.4 billion stadium under construction downtown.

The Atlanta Falcons were accused of piping in artificial crowd noise during games to give them an unfair advantage and today the league handed out their punishment.


NFL: Falcons Under Investigation For Using Artificial Noise During Opposing Teams Huddles

Apparently the New England Patriots aren’t the only team being investigated by the NFL.  The Atlanta Falcons are also under investigation but not for deflating footballs, it’s for using artificial noise during opposing teams huddles.
