Dorothy’s Ruby Red Slippers Expected To Be Auctioned Off For $2 Million

One of four pairs of ruby red slippers from The Wizard Of Oz are set to hit the auction block. The iconic shoes are said to be the most famous movie prop ever. One pair will remain in the Smithsonian museum and other pair will remain at the Judy Garland museum. The current owner of the shoes is expecting to make $2 million by auction them especially since a test shoe was sold for $612,00 in May. Mussolini’s Clothes Up For Auction

A suitcase full of clothing belonging Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and his mistress, Claretta Petacci, are set to be auctioned off and expected to bring in thousands of dollars! The suitcase dates back to World War II when an Army corporal found the suitcase and sent it to his own home to keep. The clothes are now over 65 years old and were taken when the dictator and mistress were captured before their execution in April 1945. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205


MLB: Auction To Feature Some Of Ted Williams’ Most Notable Awards

Several items belonging to the late Hall of Famer are set for auction next spring. Among them are his 1946 AL championship ring, a bat he used in an All-Star game and a baseball that Babe Ruth signed to Williams.
