Auto:(Video) Watch This Audi Drive & Park By Itself..The Robot Cars Are Coming

Do any of you car fans remember the game “F-Zero” for Super Nintendo? That is pretty much how I envision the eventual future of cars. That time really might not be too far off. We already have cars that assist with parking. We also know cars are being made as we speak that are able to drive on their own. Audi recently became the first car manufacturer to obtain a license in the U.S. to test driver-less cars on the road, which mean other auto makers will not be far behind. The future is here now people, get ready. Check the video below of an Audi A7 literally drive itself through a parking garage and park itself. Freaky! IamJOE357

Auto:(Video) How Dumb Is This Guy?

So I guess it never snows in England, where this video is from. Because you can not be this much of a moron. This is the surveillance video from the parking lot of a luxury chaufer company that uses luxury cars like Rolls Royce,Bentley, Audi and others to drive clients around. The guy in the video literally is trying to use an Audi R8 to clear snow from the path of cars in the lot. You can even see him looking a little confused in the drivers seat, like wondering why it’s not working. You keep waiting and waiting for him to crash into something for being so stupid……but it never comes..and we are all disappointed. Check the video below IamJOE357

Auto Talk: Audi working on new fuels to make cars carbon neutral

Even as automakers move to increase the number of battery electric vehicles (BEVs), fuel cell vehicles and hybrids, internal combustion technology is not standing still. In fact, Audi believes that the future will see a mix of propulsion technologies and that internal combustion can play a role in producing vehicles that have minimal CO2 impact on the environment. As shown by Toyota’s recent announcement to slow-walk EVs, the industry is looking into other alternatives besides pure electrics to meet ever-tightening Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards and zero-emission mandates like those enacted by California. Auto Talk: Audi debuts redesigned five-door A3 Sportback

The five-door version of the Audi A3, the A3 Sportback, has been revealed, and as with its three-door sibling, it won’t be coming to the U.S. We Americans can look forward to our own sedan version of the same car. The third-generation A3 is only a smidge larger dimensionally than the outgoing Sportback, but has dropped up to 198 pounds compared to the previous hatch thanks to increased use of high- and ultra-strength steel and aluminum parts like the hood and fenders. With the 1.4-liter TFSI engine it weighs just 2,657 pounds. The biggest measurement growth is in the wheelbase: the front axle has been moved forward 1.57 inches and the wheelbase overall has grown by 2.28 inches. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: Audi distances itself from Chinese dealer with ‘We Must Exterminate The Japanese’ banner

Some background: if you’ve scanned news headlines over the past few weeks, you’ve probably come across mentions of a spat between China and Japan over some islands in the East China Sea. The territorial controversy isn’t new, as both countries have claimed ownership of the group of uninhabited islands – which the Chinese call Diaoyu and the Japanese call Senkaku – for a while. The tension has been climbing recently, however, because the owner of the islands sold them to Japan, after which various groups of Chinese and Japanese nationals have been alternately heading to the islands and planting their country’s flag, each incident provoking a more vocal response. Auto Talk: Audi threatening BMW as luxury leader

For the last seven years, BMW has had a stranglehold on the top spot in the luxury car market. That reign is in danger of coming to and end, as Audi sales are on the rise. According to an Automotive News Europe report, Audi cut the difference in sales between itself and BMW to only 2,110 vehicles sold so far this year. Funk Flex
